Many people thought this Carl Perkins cover was but one of
those songs they let Ringo sing to please fans and that it
was also rather poorly produced, but I think that its smooth
rocking feel, specially during the solo, and that real funny
original "little dog" verse are enough to make it a great
number. Maybe Perkins vocal part is better than that of Ringo
but I think he does a good job too, not being a born singer,
and Paul's walking bass and George's guitar are really good.
Whatever critics may say, I think those four lads knew how to
rock in a way that few bands ever did or will.
